Editorial Design
My career started in newspaper publishing. Working with one of the most influential media companies in Mexico (Grupo Reforma). I started a Graphic Designer, creating concepts, coordinating photo shoots, supervising Illustration and Photo Retouch for the newspaper layouts. I was promoted to Art Director for the weekly publication "Magazine". In 1993 I was invited to participate in the startup newspaper in Mexico City as Sr. Art Director, training and supervising a group of 20 Graphic Designers for Soft News. In 1994 I returned to Monterrey, NL to work as a Sr. Art Director for all weekly publications, soft news, illustration and photography departments.
